Dr. Liz Levin (Ph.D)

For more than two decades Liz has made a sustained contribution to higher education teaching and learning, working to ensure that both undergraduate and postgraduate students have positive learning experiences. She is responsible for all undergraduate programs within the Swinburne Business School, Swinburne University of Technology, and has experience working across the secondary and post-secondary education sectors. Liz adopts an international focus having had experience in teaching, research related activities and professional development experiences off shore including China, Vietnam, UK and Malaysia.

Liz received several faculty teaching excellence awards (1997, 1998 and 2005), was the recipient of the Vice Chancellor's Teaching Award in 2006 and in 2015 was awarded the Vice Chancellor's Lifetime Achievement Award. She has taught units at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels relating to Marketing and Operations Management. She has been instrumental in the development and roll out of several innovative integrated multidisciplinary units throughout the Bachelor of Business, through which students have the opportunity to develop, practice and evidence their employability skills.

Liz has worked on several industry research projects, most recently on the diffusion on innovation and buyer decision making process for the purchase of technologically advanced irrigation products.

Liz is Deputy Chair and an Industry Board member with Business without Borders Swinburne, a social enterprise through which students can enhance their skills whilst making a positive contribution to the local and global community. She is an active member of HERDSA (Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia) is the Chair for Victoria Branch.
